Celtic Timber's oak barrel staves have been created using traditional European methods.
They are made by splitting the oak into staves, before being seasoned and dried outdoors from 10-36 months. This ensures that the tannins are released from the wood.
Staves may occasionally have partial cracks part the way through however still solid.
Available either in their rustic, natural form or refurbished by sanding to smooth over the staves. Ideal for a variety of woodwork and craft uses including candle holders, wine glass holders or fruit bowls.
